San Diego Group Teaches at UCU about Child Loss

Wednesday, March 21, 2018

Two veteran trainers from Life Perspectives, an organization based in San Diego, recently traveled to the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) to present an in-depth training program designed to help grief counselors and health care professionals provide more effective support services for families struggling to recover from the loss of a child, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, or early infant death.

The participants in the Life Perspectives program came from as far away as eastern Ukrainian Kharkiv and the country of Macedonia and expressed gratitude to Professor Halyna Teslyuk and Kseniya Verveha and their assistants for organizing this valuable and historic conference, unprecedented for Ukraine.  UCEF is also grateful to the Napa Institute for introducing us to the Life Perspectives program.
