UCU President Bishop Gudziak Invites Native English-Speakers to Volunteer in Ukraine

Bishop Borys Gudziak, president of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), invites native English-language speakers to visit Ukraine and volunteer.

The Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) in Lviv, invite volunteers for its English Summer School 2018 an intensive English immersion course which provides opportunities for spiritual growth, serious work and fun. Three-week program offers a chance to live with Ukrainian college students, experience Eastern Christianity, and learn about the new challenges facing this ancient country. No knowledge of Ukrainian is necessary. The program cover cost of accommodation and food for 3 weeks in Ukraine. The deadline for applying to the program is April 15, 2018.

If you cannot come than support a scholarship for students in need for $355 per person.

The Ukrainian Catholic University is preparing to host its 16th Annual Summer Program in Lviv, a unique combination of Ukrainian language classes and a rich cultural immersion program. Summer Ukrainian Language and Culture Program is the largest and most prestigious Ukrainian as a foreign language program in Ukraine, welcoming almost one hundred students from over twenty countries each summer.
